The Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) and Head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh expresses her deep sorrow and condolences for the loss of life of a Kosovo police officer, and unequivocally condemns this tragic incident in the strongest terms.

She calls for the perpetrators to be held accountable and wishes the injured officers a swift recovery.

UNMIK is closely monitoring the situation and urges all parties to exercise restraint.
