The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh, welcomed Ms. Emma Lantschner and Mr. Mikko Puumalainen from the Council of Europe Advisory Committee on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities, at UNMIK Headquarters.

They discussed issues related to the Framework Convention’s mandate, including protection of the rights of persons belonging to non-majority communities, as well as recent political developments in Kosovo.
