The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK Caroline Ziadeh was pleased to visit the Mamusa/Mamushë/Mamuša Municipality and meet with Mayor Abdülhadi Krasniç today.

After a warm welcome, SRSG Ziadeh had the opportunity to donate a forklift to the municipality and to congratulate the mayor on the municipality’s good inter-community relations while preserving the cultural heritage of the majority Kosovo Turkish inhabitants who reside in Mamusa/Mamushë/Mamuša.

She encouraged the mayor to continue championing intercommunal integration and assured him of all support in these endeavours, as UNMIK reignites efforts towards positive interethnic-relations and enhanced trust building among all communities in Kosovo.

Mayor Krasniç expressed gratitude to SRSG Ziadeh for UNMIK’s support and forklift donation, which he said would be used for a range of municipal needs.
