PRISTINA – The Steering Group on Standards, jointly chaired by SRSG Harri Holkeri and Prime Minister Bajram Rexhepi held its second meeting today. Representatives of Quint countries in Kosovo also attended the meeting.
The Group reviewed progress of the working groups preparing the Standards Implementation plan.
The SRSG, the Prime Minister and the Quint representatives all stressed that an important part of the progress on Standards part of the progress on Standards was the full commitment by all members of the Kosovo government.
SRSG Holkeri noting that the Kosovo Serbs had not taken part so far, said “that the doors remained wide open for participation of all the communities in the working group.”
The chairpersons of the different working groups also attended the meeting.
