PRISTINA – Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Kosovo, Farid Zarif, expressed felicitations to the people of Kosovo on the upcoming holiday of Kurban Bajram.
“On behalf of all of us at UNMIK, I wish to extend best wishes to members of the Islamic community in Kosovo on the occasion of Kurban Bajram.
“This festive holiday is an opportunity for the various communities in Kosovo to come together to renew ties among families and friends and resolve differences peacefully.
“This day marks the spirit of tolerance, charity, and sacrifice – virtues certainly appreciated and shared by people of all faiths. Let us use this occasion to reinforce constructive dialogue and reconciliation for a better future.
“I wish all residents of Kosovo good health, peace, and joy on this sacred occasion.”
