PRISTINA - Acting SRSG Charles Brayshaw today has sought to correct a misquote attributed to him by media yesterday and today.
In recent interviews, Mr. Brayshaw has urged all people and parties in Kosovo to work together to form a coalition in the Kosovo Assembly in order to assemble the institutions of provisional self-government as soon as possible.
Mr. Brayshaw has never called on any specific communities to form such a coalition. Reports in some media mistakenly indicated that his calls for united action in the Assembly referred only to one community.
UNMIK would appreciate that his remarks be corrected or clarified.
