PRISTINA - According to the UNMIK regulation on Customs (No.1999/03), passengers in buses and vehicles are allowed to import goods for their own personal use only. Passengers or others importing goods for commercial use must pay customs duties when entering Kosovo.
Any buses hauling trailers carrying commercial goods into Kosovo must be registered with the UNMIK Customs Service.
Tourist agencies which are interested in importing commercial goods on buses or trailers should also register, in advance, with UNMIK Customs in Pristina.
Agencies will be required to submit an Administrative Document when crossing the border into Kosovo from neighboring countries.
