PRISTINA – SRSG Harri Holkeri issued the following statement today:
“I am very happy to see that the Working Group on the Missing met here today under the chairmanship of Francois Stamm from the International Committee of the Red Cross.
“The issue of the missing persons is a very sensitive and emotional one. I understand that today’s meeting was held in a very constructive and positive atmosphere. This is how I foresee the entire Pristina-Belgrade direct dialogue developing. As I said last time, UNMIK and the international community will continue to give their unstinted support for the dialogue.”
