PRISTINA - UNMIK is urgently seeking to contract with snow clearance companies with crews capable of removing snow and ice on Kosovo roads in winter.
In a press release issued on 23 November, the appeal was incorrectly made for snow plow drivers.
In actuality, UNMIK is seeking COMPANIES with experienced staff, including drivers, immediately. The company should have at least two years experience in snow and ice clearance. It must include a specialist in equipment maintenance. English speakers are preferred. The company must be able to work on a 24-hour basis.
UNMIK will provide snowplow trucks and other equipment
Letters of application and supporting documents can be deposited in Application Boxes at the entrance to the UNMIK-Government Building, addressed to Mr. Michel Gontier, Room 312, extension 5507.
Companies will be evaluated on a competitive basis with experience and skill level taken into account.
Compensation will be paid at professional level.
