PRISTINA – The Officer in Charge of UNMIK, Mr. Ernst Tschoepke, said today:
“As 2009 comes to a close, we look back at a decade that has brought considerable development to Kosovo. While UNMIK’s role in Kosovo has evolved significantly, the United Nations’s commitment to supporting security and stability remains firm at the start of 2010.
On behalf of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General Lamberto Zannier and all of us at UNMIK, I wish the people of Kosovo a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.”
