PRISTINA – Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General (SRSG) Lamberto Zannier traveled to north Mitrovica today as part of his initial dialogue with political parties throughout Kosovo.
“I held very constructive meetings today with Kosovo-Serb political party representatives, civil society leaders, and Kosovo-Albanian community leaders from northern municipalities in Kosovo.”
The SRSG also said that he would be available to travel to Belgrade to hold meetings with the new government there.
“I expect a constructive attitude from the new government in Belgrade and I am ready to sit down with them to discuss the points that Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon outlined in the letter he sent to President Tadic last month,” the SRSG said.
