PRISTINA 12 November 2010 – UNMIK responds to the release of an interview by Voice of America (Serbian Service), titled “Zannier: Kosovo’s north biggest challenge”.
UNMIK would like to mention that the recent quotes in the Media -namely in VOA, and repeated in the Local Press today- regarding the current situation in Kosovo do not reflect the views of the SRSG.
Mr. Zannier said that the situation in the north of Kosovo needs to be dealt with, so that it DOES NOT become a frozen conflict.
