PRISTINA – Acting Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Kosovo Mr. Farid Zarif issued the following message on the occasion of Ramazan Bajram (Eid-al-Fitr):
“On behalf of UNMIK, I would like to congratulate all Muslims in Kosovo on the conclusion of the holy month of Ramazan and on the festive holiday of Bajram. As you come together on this special day to renew solidarity, friendship and family ties, I also do extend my warmest wishes in line with the spirit of this holy month for peace and reconciliation within and amongst all the communities that make up Kosovo’s rich and diverse cultural mosaic. May Bajram bring peace, prosperity and health to all of you.
