UNMIK/PR/829
Pristina - The Office on Missing Persons and Forensics and the UNMIK Police Missing Persons Unit have organized an exhibition of photographs of clothing and personal effects recovered from mortal remains found in a mass grave in Petrovo Selo, Serbia.
Some of the exhumed remains may belong to individuals killed in the village of Izbice in March 1999.
The exhibition of clothing and personal effects is intended to assist in the identification and repatriation of these remains.
The exhibition is being held in Skenderaj at the Youth Section of the Cultural Centre on 24 and 25 September 2002, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is supporting the exhibition by informing affected families and facilitating their transportation to and from the venue.
The photographs displayed in Skenderaj are also available in a photo book recently published by the ICRC and available at all ICRC offices.
