PRISTINA---The Administrative Department of Sports announced today that the swimming pool in Germia is closed to public by municipal order.
They appealed to the public not to use the pool yet because there are still active chemicals in the pool which are hazardous to health and no life guards have been deployed yet.
The appeal came in the wake of nearly a 1,000 people entering the pool today.
The department said that they have been working to rehabilitate the pool for the last four months and the work is almost done, though it is not finished. The pool was originally scheduled to open on 12 July, but that stands cancelled now. The reopening of the pool entirely depends on the restoration of electricity supply. The new date of opening will be announced through the press.
