PRISTINA – I wish Muslims in Kosovo a Happy Bajram. This auspicious religious day symbolizes unity, peace, solidarity and compassion.

At the same time, I express my fervent hope for peace in your families and peace within and among the communities that make up Kosovo’s multi-cultural society.

United Nations Mission in Kosovo

The United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) was established by the Security Council in its resolution 1244 (1999). In accordance with its mandate, the Mission helps to ensure conditions for a peaceful life for all inhabitants of Kosovo.
