PRISTINA – PDSRSG Larry Rossin issued the following message on the occasion of the end of the holy month of Ramadan:
“On behalf of the SRSG and all of UNMIK, I wish to extend best wishes to members of the Islamic Community in Kosovo as you observe the end of the holy month of Ramadan and celebrate Fiter Bajram.
“As this holy month of fasting and peacemaking ends, traditionally people reflect on the true meaning of Fiter Bajram when they come together as a community to renew friendships and resolve differences. Let us use this occasion to continue peaceful dialogue among all people of all communities for the future of Kosovo.
“I wish you all health and prosperity.
“Happy Fiter Bajram!”
