PRISTINA – Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Kosovo Farid Zarif issued the following message on the occasion of the Kurban Bajram:
“On behalf of all of us at UNMIK, I would like to congratulate all of Kosovo’s Muslims on the occasion of Kurban Bajram. This day marks the spirit of peace, sacrifice, and generosity – virtues certainly appreciated by people of all faiths in Kosovo.
Kurban Bajram is an opportunity for the various communities in Kosovo to celebrate with their neighbours in harmony, and to come together in the spirit of mutual observance.
I wish you health, peace and happiness on this sacred occasion.”
