PRISTINA – Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Kosovo Farid Zarif issued the following message on the occasion of Orthodox Christmas:
“The holiday season is a time of tolerance and harmony among neighbours. It is a time when we gather with loved ones and share in the spirit of peace and good will. It is a time when community is paramount, and an opportunity to accept each other in their diversity.
On behalf of all of us in UNMIK, I wish joy and prosperity to all celebrating Orthodox Christmas. May this happy occasion promote mutual respect among people of all faiths in Kosovo.
Merry Christmas! Srećan Božić!”
