PRISTINA – SRSG Harri Holkeri has expressed his deep shock and sorrow at the death of the FYROM President Boris Trajkovski and his associates in a plane crash this morning in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr. Holkeri extends his deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of President Trajkovski and to the families of those who died with him. He also extends his deepest condolences to the government and the people of FYROM.
“I personally and UNMIK have had very good relations with President Trajkovski. I am very saddened on hearing the news of his death. We pray that President Trajkovski’s family and FYROM will find the strength to come through this difficult period,” Mr. Holkeri said.
