PRISTINA – SRSG Harri Holkeri today met a delegation of Coalition Povratak leaders from the Kosovo Assembly.
The SRSG urged the members, representing the Kosovo Serbian community, to engage in the preparation of the Standards Implementation process, which he said was the best way forward for all communities living in Kosovo. He reiterated that the ”door is open and seats are reserved to be occupied by you,” in the implementation process.
The SRSG also addressed the concerns of the delegation related to the transfer of competencies to the Kosovo government from Chapter 5 of the Constitutional Framework.
He said the competencies were transferred according to UNSCR 1244 and the Constitutional Framework.
He also stated his intention to visit Belgrade in the near future to discuss current issues.
