PRISTINA –Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Kosovo (SRSG) Joachim Ruecker issued the following message on the occasion of Fitr Bajram:
“On behalf of UNMIK, I would like to congratulate all Muslims in Kosovo on the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan and on the festive holiday of Fitr Bajram.
“As you come together today as a community to renew friendship and family ties, I extend my warmest wishes for peace and reconciliation within and among the communities that make up Kosovo’s rich cultural mosaic. May this day bring health and prosperity to all of you.
“Happy Fitr Bajram!”
