PRISTINA – SRSG Michael Steiner today met with the Commander of Allied Forces for Southern Europe, Admiral Gregory Johnson on his regular visit to the region. The SRSG briefed the Admiral on the political and economical situation in Kosovo and they put an emphasis on the overall security situation.
The two then went on to discuss the upcoming elections and the security implications.
Admiral Johnson stated, that he was “very satisfied with the security situation and with the developments in the economy.”
