Pristina – SRSG Michael Steiner today visited the site of the tragic bus accident in the mountains above Pejë/Pec. He met with the Station Commander and the Deputy Chief Operations of Pejë/Pec Police Station who gave him reports on what had happened and how the incident was being managed.
SRSG Michael Steiner then again expressed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims of this tragedy. He also promised a full investigation into the causes of the accident. “Whatever caused this tragedy, we want to know”, the SRSG emphasized, “ We must not jump to conclusions, but whatever consequences have to be drawn, will be drawn.”
