PRISTINA— SRSG Dr. Bernard Kouchner has signed Regulation 2000/50 amending UNMIK Regulation 1999/27 on the Kosovo Consolidated Budget for the current financial year, ending 31 January 2000.
The new regulation outlines the revised budget after a mid-term review of the revenue and expenditures of the various JIAS departments. Schedules 1 and 3 of the new regulation replace Schedules 1 and 3 of Regulation 1999/27 and entered into force on 23 August 2000.
The revised General Government budget (Schedule 1) is for 430.7 million DM of which 52 million DM represent subsidies to the utilities and transport sector.
