PRISTINA – SRSG Michael Steiner today paid a visit to Mitrovica, combining political talks with the opportunity to meet with the people of Mitrovica and to listen to their concerns.
The SRSG met with the Vice-President of the Municipal Assembly, Mustafa Pllana, to discuss the upcoming elections and the developments in Mitrovica. After their meeting they both took a walk through the Town Market.
Michael Steiner then went on to enjoy a paintings exhibition in the Cultural Center which showed a compilation of recent artists of Kosovo.
The Mobile Cultural Container project at the Mitrovica bridge connecting the North and the South of the city was the SRSG’s last stop during his stay. He participated in a Radio Workshop and went life on air, being interviewed by teenage members of this workshop project.
