Pristina -- We have achieved a great deal in the last six weeks. Of course a lot remains to be done, including working out the fine points of the regulations that will govern the work of the interim units of the Joint Interim Administrative Structure, also staffing of the departments and other administrative arrangements. These kinds of details are under active and productive discussion between the new Co-Heads of these units and they are working well together. So in this sense we can say that the progress toward the building up of the Joint Interim Administrative Structure remains on track.
More importantly, each of the signatories to the agreement on a Joint Interim Administrative Structure today have reconfirmed that as of this moment, all parallel structures are dissolved. They no longer exist. In this respect, however, yesterday's events were distinctly unhelpful and have disrupted the excellent progress of the IAC, the Interim Administrative Council. I therefore adjourned today's meeting. I join with each of my fellow members of the IAC in demanding clear and credible respect for the agreement we have made together.
