The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Mr. Peter Due, met today with the Mayor of Pristina, Mr. Përparim Rama at the Municipality building.
They exchanged views on recent developments in Pristina; underscored the importance of inclusive, sustainable urban development in fostering social cohesion and strengthening inter-community dialogue; and explored opportunities for continued cooperation on local governance and community engagement.
SRSG Due expressed appreciation for the Municipality’s constructive partnership and ongoing support to UNMIK’s trust-building initiatives, including the Barabar Centre, the Mural project and other community-focused efforts that promote dialogue and understanding.
