Youth activities of the Mission 1

  • 1st United Nations Kosovo Youth Assembly is an open platform for cooperation between young people from all communities across Kosovo, UN institutions and other international organizations, as well as the local decision-makers from all levels, civil society and businesses.

UN Kosovo Youth Assembly follows an example of the world-famous annual UN Youth Assembly in New York, and was organized for the first time in Kosovo on 28-29 June 2017. The 2nd UN Youth Assembly in Kosovo will be organized in spring 2018.

United Nations Mission in Kosovo

The United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) was established by the Security Council in its resolution 1244 (1999). In accordance with its mandate, the Mission helps to ensure conditions for a peaceful life for all inhabitants of Kosovo.
