UNMIK Goes Orange to Mark the Launch of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence

To commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and mark the launch of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence, UNMIK staff wear orange and UNMIK building is illuminated in orange.

Orange is the official colour of the UN Secretary General UNiTE campaign and is used as a symbol of a brighter future, free from violence against women and girls.

During the campaign, UNMIK is organizing and supporting different events to raise awareness about gender-based violence.
