16 January, 2018 - The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Zahir Tanin, was shocked by the murder of Oliver Ivanović – leader of the civic initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice – near his office in North Mitrovica this morning, and strongly condemns the act.

He trusts the investigative authorities will work swiftly and effectively, and assures that all the international agencies on the ground are ready to support the authorities in any manner which may assist the swift apprehension of those responsible for this crime.

“I extend my own and the entire UN family’s deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Ivanović”, SRSG Tanin stated.

PSSP Tanin dënon ashpër vrasjen e Oliver Ivanoviçit

16 janar, 2018 - Përfaqësuesi Special i Sekretarit të Përgjithshëm dhe Shef i UNMIK-ut, Zahir Tanin, është tronditur nga vrasja e Oliver Ivanovic – udhëheqës i initciativës qytetare Liri, Demokraci, Drejtësi – afër zyrës së tij në Mitrovicë të Veriut sot në mëngjes, dhe dënon ashpër këtë akt.

Ai beson që organet hetuese do të punojnë shpejtë dhe në mënyrë efektive, duke siguruar që të gjitha agjencitë ndërkombëtare në terren janë të gatshme për të mbështetur autoritetet në çfarëdo mënyre që mund të ndihmojnë në kapjen e shpejtë të atyre që janë përgjegjës për këtë krim.

“Shpreh ngushëllimet e mia të sinqerta dhe ato të gjithë familjes së OKB-së, familjes dhe miqëve të Z. Ivanovic,” tha Tanin.

SPGS Tanin oštro osuđuje ubistvo Olivera Ivanovića

16. januar 2018. - Specijalni predstavnik generalnog sekretara i šef UNMIK-a Zahir Tanin šokiran je ubistvom Olivera Ivanovića, lidera građanske inicijative Sloboda, demokratija, pravda, koji se desio jutros u blizini njegove kancelarije u severnoj Mitrovici, i snažno osuđuje taj akt.

On veruje da će istražne vlasti raditi brzo i efikasno i uveruje da su sve međunarodne agencije na terenu spremne da podrže vlasti na bilo koji način koji bi mogao pomoći brzom hapšenju osoba odgovornih za ovaj zločin.

"Najdublje saučešće porodici i prijateljima gospodina Ivanovića u moje ime i cele UN porodice", izjavio je SPGS Tanin.
