The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Zahir Tanin, welcomed the new MSU Carabinieri Regiment Commander, Colonel Marco Di Stefano, to UNMIK Headquarters in Pristina. 

Col Di Stefano and SRSG Tanin exchanged views on a number of important matters including recent political developments, the situation in Kosovo, and the continuing cooperation between the Carabinieri, KFOR and UNMIK.
