SRSG Tanin condemns attack on RTK

23 August - The Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Zahir Tanin, condemns the attack on the premises of the Radio Television Kosovo (RTK) that took place yesterday evening.

“Violent attacks of this kind are never justified, and such acts are only detrimental to the future of Kosovo,” he said. SRSG Tanin calls for the perpetrators to be brought to justice and assures the relevant authorities of UNMIK’s full support in investigating this incident.
