The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Ms. Caroline Ziadeh, welcomed the new Head of Office of the People’s Republic of China in Pristina, Mr. Cheng Lei, at UNMIK Headquarters.

They discussed the mission's priorities, including intercommunity trust-building, human rights, rule of law, and the women and youth and peace and security agendas, as well as UNMIK's support for the EU-facilitated dialogue process. Both expressed the desire for fruitful cooperation into the future.
