The Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Mr. Christopher Coleman, visited the newly-established multiethnic Missing Persons Resource Center in Pristina on the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances.
On the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) and Head of UNMIK, Zahir Tanin, stated that “our thoughts are with the families and friends of persons still missing in Kosovo.
The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations was saddened to learn of the death of former Prime Minister, Bajram Rexhepi.

SRSG Zahir Tanin, Head of UNMIK: “I strongly condemn the attack against Parim Olluri, the director and journalist of the online news outlet Insajderi. I wish Mr Olluri a speedy recovery. It is essential that journalists have the freedom and safety to perform their work without fear of reprisal.
