SRSG visited Vushtrri/Vučitrn Municipality

Pristina 15 July 2016 - The Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG), Zahir Tanin, and his Deputy, Christopher Coleman, today visited Vushtrri/Vučitrn municipality and met with Mayor Bajram Mulaku and his senior municipal staff including representatives of the Serbian community. They discussed interethnic relations and other issues affecting the communities in this municipality.
 
SRSG, Zahir Tanin warmly thanked the municipal leadership for their commitment to integrate all communities into the economic and institutional life in the municipality and encouraged them to streng. He said that UNMIK’s main focus is to facilitate, assist and contribute in building of trust and confidence as well as strengthening cooperation among all communities through confidence building measures.
