SRSG Zahir Tanin welcomed Ambassador Mr Didier Chabert of France at UNMIK Headquarters on 5 December 2016.  The SRSG and Ambassador discussed a wide range of topics in relation to Kosovo, including political developments and the EU-facilitated dialogue.

On 28 November 2016, SRSG Tanin met with the incoming Ambassador of Switzerland, Mr Jean-Hubert Lebet. The SRSG congratulated the Ambassador on his new assignment in Kosovo. The two exchanged views on the situation in Kosovo, including the economic outlook and international support.
