Continuing regular consultations with international stakeholders on 14 November, Ms. Caroline Ziadeh, Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, met in London with the UK’s Special Envoy for Western Balkans, Lord Stuart Peach, and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Director General for Europe, Mr. Peter Wilson, Head of Western Balkans Department, Ms. Madeline Knox, and other interlocutors.

They discussed the UNMIK’s ongoing trust-building activities and the support for the EU-facilitated Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and progress towards sustainable solutions. Announcing the upcoming United Nations Kosovo Trust-Building Forum in Thessaloniki from 21 to 23 November, SRSG noted that building trust across Kosovo communities contributes to conditions that are more conducive to the talks and the implementation of the agreements reached through the Dialogue.
