The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh, received the President of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, Judge Ekaterina Trendafilova at UNMIK Headquarters today.

 SRSG Ziadeh and Judge Trendafilova discussed the overall situation in Kosovo, with particular attention to the work of the Specialist Chambers. SRSG Ziadeh reaffirmed UNMIK's support for strengthening the rule of law in Kosovo, with a specific emphasis on ensuring equal access to justice.

 Judge Trendafilova's visit to UNMIK is part of her regular visits to Kosovo.
