Today, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK Ms. Caroline Ziadeh paid a visit to Obiliq/Obilić municipality.  

In the village of Plemetina/Plemetin, she observed the progress of an UNMIK-supported project with the NGO “AgroMedicine”, which promotes sustainability, community resilience, and inter-ethnic dialogue.

Following her visit to Plemetina/Plemetin, SRSG Ziadeh met with Obiliq/Obilić Mayor Mr. Xhafer Gashi and his team. Discussions centered around the municipality's opportunities and challenges, particularly focusing on promoting women empowerment and trustbuilding within its multi-ethnic community. SRSG Ziadeh also commended Mayor Gashi's efforts in supporting the empowerment of the Kosovo Roma community.
