The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Ms. Caroline Ziadeh, visited Junik municipality today, where she met with Mayor Mr. Ruzhdi Shehu and his team. They discussed socio-economic developments in the municipality.

SRSG Ziadeh reiterated UNMIK's commitment to supporting efforts aimed at trust-building, promoting social cohesion, and advancing initiatives for the empowerment of women and youth.

SRSG Ziadeh praised Mayor Shehu for his vision and efforts to enhance socio-economic development with the municipality's rich natural and cultural heritage and to foster prosperity in the region.
