The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK Caroline Ziadeh welcomed the new Commander of KFOR Major General Özkan Ulutaş at UNMIK Headquarters.

SRSG Ziadeh and Major General Ulutaş emphasized the ongoing need for strong cooperation between UNMIK and KFOR in their shared endeavors to maintain peace and stability in Kosovo, operating within the framework of Security Council resolution 1244.
