Showing our dedication to ending Gender Based Violence, SRSG Ziadeh and UNMIK personnel walked today in solidarity with the victims and all those in Kosovo who are doing their best to eradicate this deeply rooted issue.

"Gender-based violence and Domestic Violence remain a critical concern that undermines peace, security, and development. It is our collective responsibility to confront and eradicate them," said UNMIK's Gender Advisor, Habi Diawara.

"We recommit to working together to advocate for change, empower survivors, foster collaboration, and amplify the voices of women and girls. Together, we can eradicate violence and create societies where everyone thrives free from fear,” added Diawara.
