29 May 2015 - Jennifer Brush, Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (DSRSG) in Kosovo, attended the 4th International Interfaith Conference held in Pristina. During her speech at the opening reception on 28 May, she outlined the “immense influence” that religious leaders and communities have, and “their ability to help achieve lasting peace and promote reconciliation, as well as dialogue, in post-conflict situation.”

During the three-day conference, the panels focused on the use of social media as a tool to foster interfaith dialogue and to counter violent extremism and hate speech in contemporary societies. The event gathered people from across the world, including faith leaders, civil society activists, youth, diplomats and academics.
