SRSG TANIN MEETS KOSOVO DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER BRANIMIR STOJANOVIĆ
UNMIK Special Representative of the Secretary-General Zahir Tanin met Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanović on 14 March, 2017 to exchange views on the current political situation in Kosovo and the development of new initiatives serving non-majority communities.
The Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) briefed the Head of the UN Mission in Kosovo about political developments, focusing in particular about the situation for Kosovo Serbs. He reiterated the importance of the formation of the Association / Community of Serb-majority Municipalities.
During the meeting, the SRSG and DPM also discussed Stojanović’s proposed program platform “Our Plan”, focused on minority communities, the development of other new initiatives, and agreed to continue coordination and cooperation moving forward.
