SRSG Zahir Tanin welcomed the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Anatolie Salaru, on 4 August 2016 to UNMIK headquarters.  The SRSG and Minister discussed the situation in Kosovo, Moldova’s engagement in UN Peacekeeping, and Moldova’s contributions to UNMIK and KFOR.  Moldova currently contributes one officer to UNMIK’s Military Liaison Office and 41 to KFOR.
