The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK Caroline Ziadeh visited today the Gračanica Monastery and met Bishop Teodosije of the Eparchy of Raška-Prizren.   

SRSG Ziadeh conveyed heartfelt wishes for prosperity and peace during Orthodox Christmas and the upcoming Orthodox New Year. 

At the meeting SRSG Ziadeh emphasized the pivotal role of religious leaders in nurturing harmonious inter-community relations in Kosovo and assured the Mission's unwavering support to the initiatives that build trust and foster peaceful diversity in the region. 

In response, Bishop Teodosije expressed gratitude to SRSG Ziadeh and UNMIK for the contributions towards a harmonious living environment. He also reiterated his commitment to serving as a symbol of peace in the local context.
