The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Ms. Caroline Ziadeh, met today with the President of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, the Grand Mufti, Naim Tërnava, at the Kosovo Islamic Community Office in Pristina, and with Bishop Teodosije of the Eparchy of Raška-Prizren at the Gračanica Monastery.

During her meetings SRSG Ziadeh and her interlocutors exchanged views on the support of the international community for inter-faith dialogue. Both Grand Mufti Tërnava and Bishop Teodosije agreed on the need to promote trust and confidence among communities and looked forward to furthering the established cooperation with UNMIK in this regard.
