The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK Caroline Ziadeh visited the Assembly of Kosovo today and met with the Deputy President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Mr. Bekim Arifi, and Head of the Multi-ethnic parliamentary group, Mr. Enis Kervan. SRSG Ziadeh expressed solidarity with the communities in honouring the victims of the earthquake in Türkiye. She discussed the priorities of the Multi-ethnic caucus in advancing the interests and rights of their diverse constituencies, including in preparation for the upcoming Kosovo census. She expressed the mission’s readiness to continue dialogue with the parliamentary group and strengthen support for all communities, which is vital to UNMIK’s trust-building efforts.
