The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh, met today with Grand Mufti Naim Tërnava to discuss present state of interfaith relations in Kosovo, recognizing the significance of maintaining open channels of communication between diverse religious and ethnic communities. SRSG Ziadeh expressed her appreciation for Grand Mufti’s dedication to fostering dialogue, advocating tolerance, and promoting coexistence.

Highlighting the crucial role of interreligious dialogue in the process of community trust-building, SRSG Ziadeh reiterated its importance to UNMIK's work.
